Miraflores: the Cosmopolitan District

Located along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean, this upscale district has it all. Whatever you name you’ll find it there. With it’s beaches, parks, hotels, restaurants, bars and shops, Miraflores is one of the main tourist destinations in Lima.

Visit the cats in Kennedy Park

With beautiful trees and flowers this park is a lovely place to hang out in the centre of Miraflores.

You will find cute cats everywhere! They are very chilled out and friendly, and come in all shapes and colours. This is a must visit when in Lima.

This boardwalk is made up of green parks and breathtaking views of the cliffs learning over the Pacific Ocean. Make sure you include the following places in your walk: Miraflores Chinese Park, Marine Lighthouse and the Parque del Amor.

This is also the perfect place to watch the sunset, bring your camera and get ready for unforgettable memories

Say hello to Paddington Bear

A gift from the British Embassy, this bear watches over the Miraflores Boardwalk, a playground, and the Pacific Ocean. Rather fitting for the Paddington Bear from “Darkest Peru”.

Go shopping at the Larcomar Mall

What appear to be hanging off the cliff edge, this mall is made up of an array of different shops. Whether you love shopping or need to pick up a few things you forgot to pack, this is the perfect place. There are also several restaurants located here, with a lovely view of the ocean.

Visit Huaca Pullana

This archaeological site belonging to the pre-Inca Lima culture, originally functioned as an important ceremonial and administrative centre. Made from adobe and clay, the pyramid was built between 200 and 700 AD.

There is limited information around the site, so I would recommend getting a guide if you love ancient historical sites.
